KSrelief Launches Basic Education Support Project in Mali
King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) launched on Saturday the Basic Education Support Project in the Republic of Mali.
The launch was attended by Deputy Saudi Ambassador to Mali Abdulmohsen Al-Otaibi and several officials.
The project aims to strengthen educational infrastructure and provide essential resources to improve education quality and expand academic opportunities. It will benefit 20,800 male and female students across targeted regions.
The initiative includes equipping 270 classrooms in 45 public schools. Each classroom will be furnished with student desks, a teacher’s desk and chair, a metal cabinet, and a laptop. Additionally, 4,600 school bags containing essential supplies will be distributed, along with school uniforms and shoes for 4,600 students.
The project forms part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s humanitarian and relief efforts delivered through KSrelief to support the education sector in countries in need, recognizing education as a foundation for community empowerment and sustainable development.
