OIC Condemns Terrorist Attacks in Northern Benin

Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Secretary-General Hissein Brahim Taha today issued a strong condemnation of the recent terrorist attacks in northern Benin, which resulted in the deaths of several soldiers and injuries to many others.
 The secretary-general conveyed his deepest condolences and sincere sympathies to the families of the victims of these heinous acts, as well as to the government and people of Benin. He also wished those who were injured a swift recovery.
 He reiterated the OIC's steadfast support for Benin in its ongoing efforts to combat terrorism, emphasizing the critical importance of international and regional cooperation and solidarity in eradicating this threat to peace and stability in the region.
