Dumat Al-Jandal Concludes Fourth Agricultural Processing Festival

The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture’s branch in Al-Jouf Region, represented by its Dumat Al-Jandal office, concluded on Friday the fourth edition of the “Ibda’at Joufiyah” festival for processed agricultural products at the city’s exhibition center, bringing together farmers, government and nongovernmental entities, and families in the cottage industry.

 The three-day festival featured 22 booths for processed agricultural products, including honey, olives, and molasses, alongside goods made by families in the cottage industry. Sixteen government and nongovernmental entities provided services to visitors, including awareness and educational programs and free medical screenings.

 The program included five specialized workshops for farmers and producers to strengthen their production capabilities, improve product quality, and enhance added value in the region’s agricultural sector.

 Held for the fourth consecutive year, the festival supports local farmers and producers, empowers families in the cottage industry, promotes agricultural processing, and boosts the market presence of their goods.
