Umm Al-Qura University, represented by its Institute of the Arabic Language for Non-Native Speakers, continues to advance its mission of promoting the Arabic language worldwide through its Bachelor of Arts in Teaching Arabic as a Second Language. The specialized academic program is designed for international students seeking to specialize in teaching Arabic in accordance with the latest academic and educational standards.

 The program aims to prepare specialized teachers equipped with linguistic, educational, and research competencies that enhance the quality of Arabic language instruction for non-native speakers. It also contributes to promoting the Arabic language and its culture, supporting scientific research and innovation, and serving the community through effective academic partnerships that enhance cultural dialogue and knowledge exchange.

 The program is the first bachelor's degree of its kind at Saudi universities dedicated to preparing teachers of Arabic as a second language.
