Saudi Ambassador to the United States of America Princess Reema bint Bandar Al Saud held a virtual meeting with the Saudi Science and Engineering Team participating in the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF 2026), held in Phoenix, Arizona, USA.
The meeting comes as part of efforts to support and encourage Saudi students as they represent the Kingdom at the world’s largest global forum for research and innovation for pre-university students, which brings together more than 1,700 male and female students from around 70 countries, competing in 22 scientific fields, with the participation of 1,200 male and female judges to evaluate the projects.
During the meeting, Princess Reema emphasized that Saudi students are ambassadors of their country, stressing the importance of representing the Kingdom in a manner befitting its standing and of demonstrating the scientific excellence, refined conduct, and values that reflect the Kingdom's culture.
The Kingdom is represented at ISEF 2026 by the Saudi Science and Engineering Team, comprising 40 students, along with two observer students from gifted education programs, who will participate across multiple scientific disciplines in the 76th edition of the fair.
