Prophet’s Mosque Sanitized with 2,700 Liters of Disinfectant for Friday Prayer

The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque provides round-the-clock care to ensure a healthy and safe environment where worshippers can perform their religious duties with spirituality and tranquility, intensifying its efforts today by using more than 2,700 liters of disinfectants as part of a comprehensive plan to prepare for Friday prayer.

 This extensive sanitation is part of daily maintenance activities, which include washing the floors, courtyards, and roof of the Prophet's Mosque multiple times a day, as well as cleaning and sterilizing over 25,000 carpets daily. The floors and carpets are also perfumed with the finest Madinah roses, while the mosque’s facilities and restrooms undergo regular sterilization and disinfection.

 Furthermore, a specialized 24-hour maintenance program is dedicated to the canopies, air conditioning vents, and walls to ensure a consistent level of cleanliness and quality befitting the revered status of the Prophet's Mosque.

 Specialized field teams carry out their work using the latest approved methods and materials, striving to achieve the highest standards of care that reflect the Prophet’s Mosque’s standing as a paramount spiritual destination for Muslims worldwide.
