Rounds 4 and 5 of ABB FIA Formula E in Jeddah Set with 20 Drivers
Twenty drivers representing 10 teams will compete in rounds four and five of the 2026 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, marking the 12th edition of the series. The event starts today at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit and runs over two days, with one round held each day. It was organized by the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation under the Ministry of Sport's supervision.
Minister of Sport and Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee President Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal affirmed that hosting the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship for the eighth time reflects the leadership’s continued support and strong commitment to the sports sector, which has helped position the Kingdom as a global sporting destination.
He added that staging the championship in Jeddah supports the Kingdom's goals, enhances national capabilities in organizing international events, and promotes sports tourism while attracting fans worldwide.
Hosting the event aligns with ongoing efforts to advance initiatives, support the national economy, and build a dynamic sports community that fulfills national ambitions.
