Saudi Banks Committee Launches Campaign to Empower Startups, SMEs

The Saudi Banks Media and Awareness Committee has launched a national awareness campaign to support and raise financial awareness among owners of startups and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across the Kingdom.
The campaign is based on the idea that an enterprise owner's relationship with the bank does not begin when financing is requested, but when the commercial account is opened, and continues through daily operations to growth and expansion. It focuses on three specific categories: startups establishing their banking relationship, micro-enterprises managing day-to-day activities, and SMEs preparing for financing and growth.
Through its media outputs, the campaign highlights a range of non-financing services that enterprise owners use daily, such as point-of-sale solutions, the Wage Protection System, business cards, and digital banking services. It also covers financing solutions that support growth and expansion once an enterprise meets credit-readiness requirements, including regular financial statements and a credit record through the Saudi Credit Information Company (SIMAH).
