196 Archers Compete in Eastern Championship Archery

The Eastern Championship Archery, organized by the Saudi Archery Federation from October 22 to 24 at Prince Mohamed bin Fahd University Stadium, has begun with the participation of 196 male and female archers representing more than seven clubs. They are competing in 40 categories for 120 medals.

 The championship has attracted broad participation across various categories, with archers vying for top positions under the supervision of a 10-member refereeing team. The event aims to raise technical standards and strengthen competition among clubs.

 The Eastern Championship Archery marks the final leg of the regional championships series for the 2026–2027 sports season, following competitions in several regions. It concludes a series of events organized by the Saudi Archery Federation across the Kingdom to expand participation in the sport, discover talent, and enhance archers’ readiness, contributing to the continued development of Saudi archery.
