Diriyah Season Welcomes Visitors During Eid Al-Fitr with Rich Tourism and Cultural Programs
Diriyah Season 25–26 will welcome visitors during the Eid Al-Fitr holiday with a wide range of tourism programs and cultural experiences, reinforcing Diriyah's reputation as a premier destination for families and tourists.
The season features events inspired by Diriyah's history and heritage, including “Hal Al-Qusoor,” “Al-Huwayett,” “Diriyah Nights,” and “Samhan,” presented within an integrated framework that combines entertainment, education, and the arts in a festive Eid atmosphere.
The “Hal Al-Qusoor” program opens six historical palaces of imams and princes of the Saudi state, offering visitors an interactive experience of the Kingdom's history and development. The program also includes Arabian horse shows and cultural activities for children and visitors, such as storytelling and poetry sessions.
In the Adhwaihrah neighborhood, the “Al-Huwayett” program provides children and teenagers with educational and entertaining experiences through interactive trails that recreate daily life in old Diriyah, promoting awareness of national identity and community values.
“Diriyah Nights,” held in Al-Murayih neighborhood, features restaurants, shops, artistic experiences, musical performances, and light shows, creating an atmosphere that blends heritage with contemporary elements.
In Samhan neighborhood, visitors can explore landmarks including Samhan Mosque, Samhan Gate, and the historic tower. They can also interact with residents and experience traditional social life, offering an immersive heritage experience that highlights the area’s cultural significance.
