KSrelief-Supported Dialysis Center at Banadir Hospital in Somalia Serves 347 Patients in May

The dialysis center at Banadir Hospital in Mogadishu, Somalia, continued providing medical services to beneficiaries with support from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief).

 In May, the center served 347 patients. A total of 166 patients underwent 1,059 scheduled dialysis sessions and 17 emergency sessions. Another 181 patients received consultations and medical examinations at the nephrology clinic.

 Males accounted for 63 percent of beneficiaries and females for 37 percent. Displaced persons represented 8 percent of beneficiaries, residents 91 percent, and refugees 1 percent.

 The project is part of the humanitarian assistance provided by the Kingdom through KSrelief to strengthen the health sector and help alleviate the suffering of the Somali people.
