Qassim University Veterinary Teaching Hospital Bolsters Training and Specialized Care
The Veterinary Teaching Hospital at Qassim University represents a key initiative supporting the development of the veterinary sector and serves as an important contributor to the development of national talent and the provision of diagnostic and treatment services in line with the latest professional practices.
The hospital seeks to achieve national leadership in veterinary treatment, education, and research while building impactful local and international partnerships. It delivers educational, professional, research, and consulting services that contribute to sustainable national development and promote innovation, partnership, and institutional governance.
Since the beginning of 2026, the hospital has provided 1,473 treatment services, conducted 811 laboratory analyses, and participated in training 199 students enrolled in clinical courses at the College of Veterinary Medicine.
The hospital is one of the key projects driving Qassim University's institutional ecosystem and efforts to strengthen operations and community partnerships, expand specialized services, and enhance their social and economic impact. It provides an advanced clinical and educational environment that enables College of Veterinary Medicine students to gain practical experience across various specialties while supporting faculty members and researchers. The hospital also offers diagnostic, treatment, and consulting services to livestock owners, pet owners, and relevant entities.
The hospital further enhances the university's contribution to serving Qassim Region and the veterinary sector in particular by providing specialized services, supporting breeders and veterinary practitioners, and participating in the development of scientific and research-based solutions related to animal health and food security, thereby contributing to the region's economic and social development.
