Roads General Authority Highlights Five Main Routes between Riyadh and Jazan to Boost Tourism and Agriculture

The Roads General Authority has highlighted five main land routes connecting Riyadh to Jazan Region, varying in distance and travel time to provide travelers with multiple transit options for exploring Saudi Arabia's rich agricultural and tourist destinations.

 The initiative aligns with a broader strategic partnership with the Saudi Tourism Authority to leverage Saudi Arabia’s road network, which spans more than 73,000 kilometers and currently ranks first globally in the Road Connectivity Index, as a vital enabler for regional economic and tourism growth.

 These arterial routes provide seamless access to Jazan's unique environmental diversity, spanning coastal plains, mountains, and valleys, while Jazan Region serves as a gateway to the Farasan Islands. As a major Red Sea logistical hub anchored by Jazan Port, the region is renowned for its heritage attractions and premier agricultural yields, most notably Saudi coffee and mangoes.

 The continuous development of these pathways underscores the Roads General Authority's commitment to advancing the sector's stringent safety, quality, and traffic density standards, ensuring smooth and secure transit across all regions of the Kingdom.
