ZATCA Foils Attempt to Smuggle Over 51,000 Captagon Pills at Al-Haditha Port

The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) at Al-Haditha Port has thwarted an attempt to smuggle 51,163 Captagon pills found concealed inside an incoming truck.

 ZATCA spokesperson Hamoud Al-Harbi reaffirmed the authority's commitment to tightening customs controls across all border crossings to combat contraband and protect society, in close coordination with the Ministry of Interior and the General Directorate of Narcotics Control.

 He urged the public to support anti-smuggling efforts by reporting suspicious activities through the designated security hotline 1910, email 1910@zatca.gov.sa, or international line 009661910. Reports are handled under strict confidentiality, with financial rewards granted for verified tips.
