Khasher Peak Highlights Jazan's Natural and Cultural Diversity

Khasher Peak in Al-Dayer Governorate, Jazan Region, has emerged as a distinctive mountain destination blending highlands, agricultural terraces, and rich architectural heritage. Located roughly eight kilometers from the governorate center, the destination is accessed via a scenic, winding mountain road lined with farms, slopes, and elevated villages.
 Rising about 1,660 meters above sea level, the highest summit in Khasher delivers panoramic vistas of the surrounding mountain ranges. Perched villages and stepped agricultural terraces cascade down the mountainsides, providing striking settings for photography and sightseeing, especially when fog and clouds envelop the highlands.
 Agricultural terraces represent a hallmark of Khasher's landscape and rural tourism, reflecting generations of indigenous ingenuity in rainwater harvesting and terrain utilization.
