Al-Baha Livestock Markets Buzz with Activity Ahead of Eid Al-Adha
Livestock markets across Al-Baha Region are experiencing an increase in activity as Eid Al-Adha approaches, driven by a robust supply of sacrificial animals and early consumer demand.
Traditional weekly markets, including Baljurashi's Saturday market, Al-Makhwah and Al-Qura's Tuesday markets, and Al-Aqiq's Wednesday market, are drawing large crowds of citizens and residents. Vendors report that sheep and goat prices remain stable compared to previous years, currently ranging between SAR1,700 and SAR2,500 depending on breed, size, and age.
To ensure public safety and compliance with religious and health guidelines, relevant regional authorities have intensified their round-the-clock monitoring of all local public markets, slaughterhouses, and designated slaughter points.
