Interior Ministry Medical Services Support Umrah Season at the Two Holy Mosques
The General Department of Medical Services at the Ministry of Interior is providing comprehensive healthcare services for ministry personnel, visitors, and pilgrims during the Umrah season at the Two Holy Mosques.
The services include operating a medical clinic and deploying field medical teams at the Grand Mosque, in addition to mobilizing the Security Forces Hospital in Makkah to handle various health cases, helping ensure the rapid delivery of high-quality medical care.
At the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah, the department is running a temporary clinic and a mobile clinic, deploying field medical teams, and equipping comprehensive specialized clinics. The services also include monitoring the health status of security personnel in the field through a smart bracelet system, which enhances emergency response efficiency and speeds up medical intervention.
These efforts are part of the department’s ongoing work to support the healthcare system in Makkah and Madinah and to provide the highest standards of safety and medical care in areas witnessing high numbers of Umrah performers and visitors.
