SAMI Strengthens Presence as National Strategic Partner for Third Consecutive Edition at World Defense Show 2026
The Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI) is participating for the third consecutive time as the national strategic partner of the World Defense Show, organized by the General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI), from February 8 to 12, 2026.
According to a press release issued by the SAMI today, this participation comes as an extension of SAMI’s pivotal role and national leadership in supporting and developing the Kingdom’s defense ecosystem, reflecting its firm commitment to leading the sector’s transformation and contributing to the localization of military industries and defense spending, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, and the ambition to build advanced and sustainable defense capabilities.
During this exceptional edition, SAMI will showcase the latest advanced technologies in the fields of advanced electronics, aerospace, and land systems, in addition to presenting more than 60 national products and capabilities. These include advanced electronic warfare systems, command-and-control systems, and maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) solutions for various platforms, as well as the unveiling of new national systems considered among the most prominent of their kind. This reflects the accelerated qualitative shift witnessed by the Kingdom in localizing military industries, supporting economic diversification, achieving self-sufficiency, and enhancing the readiness of military and security forces in line with Vision 2030.
Throughout the five days of World Defense Show 2026, SAMI’s executive leadership and a group of technical and specialized experts will participate in 12 high-level panel discussions organized by the show, in addition to delivering capability showcases, and hosting 16 specialized panel sessions at the company’s pavilion.
This reflects SAMI’s central role in shaping the future of defense systems, advanced manufacturing, and emerging technologies within the Kingdom, and in reinforcing its active position within the regional and global defense ecosystem.
