
Food Security Authority Launches Digital Transformation to Enhance Efficiency, Response
The General Food Security Authority (GFSA) approved its comprehensive digital transformation strategy, which aims to enhance operational efficiency, improve the beneficiary experience, and raise the level of readiness and flexibility in addressing food-security challenges by adopting the latest technologies and digital solutions.
The strategy, once its projects are completed and its outcomes are implemented, will represent a qualitative shift in the GFSA's journey toward achieving its strategic objectives. The objectives are based on several key pillars: building a flexible digital infrastructure, enabling smart transformation of operations, leveraging the use of advanced data and analytics, enhancing integration with partners through a unified digital system, and developing the capabilities of national cadres in the fields of digital transformation.
The GFSA explained that the launch of the digital transformation strategy is in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and embodies the authority's commitment to adopting innovative technological solutions to ensure the sustainability of the food-security system and respond effectively to national and global changes.
Through the strategy, the GFSA aims to create an integrated digital environment that facilitates data-driven decision making, accelerates service delivery, and enhances preparedness to address risks, ultimately ensuring the highest levels of efficiency and integration in the food-security sector.
