KSrelief Supervisor General Meets UN High Commissioner for Refugees

Advisor at the Royal Court and Supervisor General of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah met yesterday with UN High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
 During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation and coordinate humanitarian and relief efforts to support refugees and displaced persons and alleviate their suffering worldwide. They also reviewed the latest developments regarding joint programs and projects.
 Grandi commended the significant humanitarian efforts and leading role played by Saudi Arabia, through KSrelief, in providing urgent relief and emergency assistance to refugees. He also highlighted the fruitful strategic partnership between the two sides.
