KSrelief Delivers New Shelter Aid to Gaza Flood Victims
King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) delivered a new batch of shelter aid to Gaza Strip. This aid is part of the Saudi campaign to support the Palestinian people, aiming to address urgent winter needs and provide quick and safe solutions for displaced people, protecting them from the harsh weather conditions.
Gaza Strip is currently experiencing a dire humanitarian situation due to the ongoing severe weather and flooding of recent days, which has swept away and severely damaged a number of tents belonging to displaced people. The tents provided focus on addressing the urgent needs of displaced families who have lost their homes and are living in harsh conditions, particularly in displacement camps.
The severe shortage of shelter and protection from the cold and rain exacerbates the risks to their lives, especially for vulnerable groups such as children, women, and the elderly.
This aid is an extension of the continuous efforts undertaken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip, given the critical humanitarian challenges they face.
