KSrelief Signs Joint Implementation Program to Drill Three Deep Solar-Powered Wells in Benin

King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) signed a joint implementation program with a civil society organization on Tuesday, via video conference, to drill three deep solar-powered wells in the Republic of Benin.
The program was signed at the center’s headquarters in Riyadh by Assistant Supervisor General for Operations and Programs Eng. Ahmed Al-Baiz.
The agreement aims to provide safe drinking water for human consumption, livestock, and domestic use; improve water supply in low-income areas; reduce waterborne diseases and parasitic disease vectors; and save lives, particularly among infants. The project will also contribute to improved nutrition by ensuring access to clean water, benefiting approximately 9,000 individuals.
This initiative is part of a series of humanitarian and relief projects and programs in the water and sanitation sector implemented by the Kingdom, through the center, to enhance quality of life, provide sustainable environmental solutions, and reduce the spread of diseases and epidemics in needy countries around the world.
